At a prescribed date and time throughout the exhibition airbags were detonated as, “safety explosions.”  Invisible to our consciousness, motorists sit inches away from tremendous potential in the explosive power and speed of an airbag detonation. It’s no wonder the U.S. Department of Transportation recommends that motorists sit as far away as possible from the airbag. Sometimes safety can become violent.
