With the backdrop of lake Michigan 24,000 watts create an artificial sunrise. The brightness is so intense it’s a little more like some form of interrogation. The viewer is naturally uncomfortable to be inspected at this level of illumination. It doesn’t take long before you break into sweat as if you have something to hide.

The extension cords act as veins weaving throughout the museum that defuse the wattage so as not to trip circuit breakers.
